Welcome to the "About Us" section of 5-Star Auto Repair & Exhaust of Lexington! We were formerly known as 5-Star Exhaust and Quick Lube. The 5-Star shop has been in business for 16 years in Lexington. In April of 2018, the owner decided to retire and sold the business to one of his long-time employees - Ryan Dougherty. Ryan started at 5-Star over 10 years ago and worked his way up from mechanic to lead technician, to shop foreman, then to shop manager. When presented with the opportunity to purchase the business, he happily accepted.
